Challenge Program

Challenge is the introductory competitive league within the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association (NCYSA) and encompasses multiple divisions in each age group. Challenge is an entry-lvel competitive soccer program where each player will earn his/her positioning and playing time within the competitive structure. Training and game attendance is required.

Training Sessions

CFC Challenge players will train twice a week, following Brentford & Swarm FC methodology. Sessions will focus on technical development, soccer IQ, & fitness while in a fun environment.

Swarm FC Methodology

“The Swarm Way” methodology for soccer is about creating a dynamic, cohesive, and adaptable style of play that emphasizes teamwork, fluid movement, and relentless swarming pressure on the opponent.

Classic Development Opportunities

CFC Challenge players who are identified to have exceptional talent may be offered the opportunity to participate, train or play with our Classic programs.

Challenge teams will participate in Challenge League within North Carolina Youth Soccer Association (NCYSA). Teams will have 8 league games during the Challenge season (September-November & February-April). Teams will also compete in tournaments throughout the seasonal year.
