Premier Leagues
We are excited to announce that Carolina FC has been accepted into the US Club Soccer- National Premier League (NPL). This prestigious platform offers elite players the chance to compete in regionalized leagues, fostering growth for players and coaches at the highest levels. Carolina FC will participate in the South Atlantic Premier League (SAPL), part of the NPL network. Most matches for SAPL take place in NC, with 1-2 possible matches in SC. Players selected for the NPL program will train 1x/week in Sanford as a combined group, as well as 2-3 days per week with their Carolina FC Classic team. This structure allows players to benefit from both localized team development and higher-level competition on a regional stage.

Access to US Club Soccer’s id2 National Identification and Development Program
NPL teams will participate in the South Atlantic Premier League. Teams will have an average of 10-12 league games during the NPL season (September-January) in addition to their Classic Programming. The top 4 teams in each age group will advance to League Playoffs, while the remaining teams head to the NPL Showcase. The winners of League Playoffs advance to the NPL National Finals.
Tryouts will be held in May 2025
